About The Position

Greenwood Heating and Home Services is looking for Plumber Apprentices to join their team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a pay rate of $22-$26 per hour, depending on experience. The role involves performing plumbing services, including installing hot water tanks, tankless water heaters, and boiler systems. The apprentice will gather information about equipment, work with office staff to obtain necessary materials, and engage in professional client discussions. The position requires a Washington State Plumbing Trainee License and offers on-the-job training. Requirements

Washington State Plumbing Trainee License is required for hiring.
Understanding and follow through in Greenwood’s Core Values and Mission Statement.
Confident and professional communication skills via phone and face to face interaction with homeowners and team members.
Attention to detail when debriefing office or homeowner about your findings in the field.
Service oriented and ability to interact with all customer service scenarios (positive and negative).
Ability to empathize and work through challenging problem-solving situations.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Plumbing experience preferred, trainee license required

Responsibilities

Gather information and data about equipment being installed, noting levels and readings of different components on equipment to ensure proper operation.
Work with office staff to pick up correct material and equipment from one of our shops to match what was purchased by customer.
Install hot water tanks, tankless water heaters, boiler systems, and provide plumbing services.
Engage in client discussions professionally and politely to uncover their needs and works with their team leaders to address issues if beyond knowledge base.
