About The Position
We are looking for an energetic, passionate, reliable Plumber Apprentice 3rd/4th year/ Journeyperson to join our RockyView Manufacturing Plant. Reporting to the Lead hand, Plumber Apprentice 3rd/4th year/ Journeyperson is responsible for various plumbing duties and also supports the installation of HVAC equipment in modular buildings/units from rough in to finishing. This is a union role.
Requirements
- Certified Journeyperson plumber or actively registered 3rd/ 4th year apprentice plumber.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools and materials
- Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time
- Capacity to lift heavy equipment and materials when required
Responsibilities
- Installation of plumbing in modular units from rough in to finishing
- Installation of water pipes, drainages and fixtures
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network and drainage systems
- Troubleshooting and testing of all plumbing fixtures and systems in the modular units
- Follow all safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
