About The Position

The PLT Process Engineering Technician IV ensures that improvement processes in the responsible area of the plant are evaluated, analysis conducted, and results reported. This role works continuously on scrap and processing initiatives, develops and executes process stability initiatives, and analyzes the effectiveness and sustainability of corrective actions to reduce waste. The technician will conduct process improvement trials, communicate results, and train personnel in new process improvement procedures. They will also evaluate new process improvement techniques, analyze data, and report findings for quality, ergonomics, and cost reduction improvements to the PLT Process Engineering Manager. Additionally, the role involves performing daily PSM and TDPM data acquisition, daily process checks of specific machines, and scrap and production analysis. Other duties may be assigned by the PLT Process Engineering Manager. The technician is responsible for ensuring all ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5-10 years manufacturing experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position
