Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PLS-CADD Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in utilizing PLS-CADD software for the design, analysis, and optimization of overhead transmission and distribution lines. As a PLS-CADD Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our engineering projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with PLS-CADD software in a professional setting.
Proficiency in conducting structural analysis and design of overhead transmission and distribution lines.
Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and practices related to overhead line design.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and accurate work.

Nice To Haves

Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to pursue licensure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Utilize PLS-CADD software to perform detailed design and analysis of overhead transmission and distribution lines.
Generate accurate models, profiles, and plans for new construction, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
Conduct thorough structural analysis, including sag-tension calculations, clearance checks, and conductor optimization.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate PLS-CADD outputs into overall project designs and documentation.
Provide technical expertise and support to project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to PLS-CADD and overhead line design.
