About The Position

Join Capgemini and play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation for one of the world's leading aerospace organizations, Airbus Canada. As a PLM Solution Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions that support complex engineering, manufacturing, and product development processes. Working in a collaborative and innovative environment, you will help shape enterprise-scale PLM ecosystems across platforms such as Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, Siemens Teamcenter, and PTC Windchill. You will partner with stakeholders across multiple functions to deliver scalable, high-performance PLM solutions that enhance product innovation, operational efficiency, and business value.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, PLM Architect, or senior PLM consultant delivering enterprise-scale implementations within complex business environments.
  • 7 plus years of strong expertise in one or more leading PLM platforms, including Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, Siemens Teamcenter, and PTC Windchill.
  • Solid understanding of product lifecycle management processes, engineering change management, configuration management, and product data governance.
  • Experience integrating PLM solutions with CAD, CAE, ERP, MES, and other enterprise applications to support end-to-end digital thread initiatives.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks & modelling techniques such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, BPMN 2.0 with the ability to design scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including SAFe and Agile-at-Scale frameworks, with experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively bridge business and technical discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and design end-to-end PLM solutions that align with business objectives, engineering processes, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and project leaders to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Define PLM data models, lifecycle management strategies, integrations, and governance frameworks to optimize product data management.
  • Lead the configuration, customization, and integration of PLM platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability with CAD, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout project delivery, guiding development teams, resolving complex technical challenges, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for solution design, development, testing, and deployment to ensure robust and reliable system performance.
  • Mentor and support PLM specialists and developers while fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across project teams.
