About The Position

As a Product Lifecycle Management Program Manager Graduate, you will join the High-Performance Computing & Artificial Intelligence Program Management Office and learn how complex hardware, software, and services programs move from concept through launch, sustainment, and end of life. Working with experienced program managers and cross-functional teams, you will help coordinate plans, track commitments, prepare program information, identify risks, and support timely decisions. This role offers broad exposure to Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Services, and Support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree completed or expected within 1 year of start date in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize information, identify patterns, and summarize findings.
  • Foundational analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines with guidance.
  • Collaborative working style and willingness to build relationships across diverse functions and locations.
  • Curiosity about technology, product development, customer needs, and business operations.
  • Comfort asking questions, seeking feedback, and learning from experienced colleagues.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience gained through internships, co-op assignments, capstone projects, research, student organizations, military service, volunteer leadership, or part-time work is valued but not required.
  • Coursework or project experience involving project management, product development, operations, analytics, process improvement, or technology is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, Lean, or product-development lifecycle concepts is helpful.
  • Project-management certification is not required; interest in pursuing foundational training or certification is encouraged.
  • Experience with tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Power BI is helpful but not required.
  • Interest in High-Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, enterprise technology, hardware, software, or services is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply HPE Product Lifecycle Management processes, tools, governance, and phase-gate requirements.
  • Support end-to-end product lifecycle planning and execution for assigned HPC and AI programs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional team members to track deliverables, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions.
  • Help maintain program schedules and dashboards that provide clear visibility into scope, schedule, quality, budget, and launch readiness.
  • Prepare accurate meeting materials, status reports, action logs, decision logs, and review presentations.
  • Facilitate team meetings, document decisions, assign actions, and follow up with owners.
  • Communicate program progress and emerging concerns clearly to program leaders and stakeholders.
  • Assist with product launch, sustaining, change-management, and end-of-life activities.
  • Contribute ideas that simplify PLM processes, improve reporting, and strengthen team collaboration.
  • Build the skills needed to manage increasingly complex programs spanning hardware, software, and services.
  • Help support one or more projects using defined PLM processes, governance, templates, and tools.
  • Help develop and maintain project schedules that identify milestones, owners, dependencies, and target dates.
  • Track actions, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions; escalate concerns with guidance from senior team members.
  • Gather updates from functional owners and translate them into concise, objective program status.
  • Help prepare lifecycle and phase-review materials, confirm required deliverables, and document outcomes and follow-up actions.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering Program Management to align business priorities, technical execution, and time-to-market requirements.
  • Support cross-functional readiness activities involving Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Services, and Support.
  • Analyze schedule, budget, quality, and readiness information to identify trends, gaps, and potential impacts.
  • Use collaboration and project-management tools to maintain reliable program records and a consistent source of truth.
  • Participate in retrospectives and continuous-improvement activities, then help implement agreed process improvements.
  • Seek feedback, apply lessons learned, and develop toward independent ownership of defined workstreams or smaller programs.
