About The Position

PGS Worldwide is seeking a PLM Process/Systems Architect for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will lead the technical execution of planning, development, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies while guiding the development of the next generation of Product Lifecycle Manufacturing (PLM) systems. The role serves as a technical authority, translating strategic objectives into business requirements and defining manufacturing elements of the product digital thread across multiple functions.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • 8 years of experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • 15 years of experience with aerospace manufacturing systems and business processes.
  • 10 years of combined experience with Production Scheduling, Complex Assembly Bills of Material, Process Plan, Condition of Supply, Tooling, Configuration Management, and/or Workflow processes.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and integrations between PLM, ERP, and MES systems.
  • Working knowledge of systems and architecture design and manufacturing applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate operations technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PLM manufacturing applications, including Teamcenter and/or 3DX.
  • Experience with ERP manufacturing applications, including OneAero, ERP4C, and/or S4/HANA.
  • Cross-functional experience within the product digital thread.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions supporting the business.
  • Ability to partner with IT teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical execution of advanced manufacturing technology planning, development, and integration.
  • Resolve manufacturing problems and guide development of next-generation PLM systems.
  • Translate strategic objectives into business requirements for manufacturing.
  • Define process elements of the product digital thread.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Management, IT, Quality, E&T, Sustainment, and the Digital Transformation Office.
  • Bridge complex business processes across the value stream.
