This position is responsible for creating, modifying, and testing PLC code, changing ladder logic in PLC programs, setting up and making changes to HMI screens, and programming drives and other electronic components. The role may involve travel to Mountville branch locations. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and repairing facilities and equipment, such as mills, HVAC, roofs, chillers, boilers, pumps, and motors, across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The technician will perform preventative maintenance, follow all safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out, and devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components. This role requires reading and interpreting equipment manuals, using various tools and testing devices, initiating corrective and preventative actions to improve MTBF and MTTR, and utilizing a CMMS system for maintenance tracking. Additionally, the technician will maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems, identify electrical problems, and keep the work area clean and orderly.
