About The Position

This role involves performing electrical troubleshooting on industrial control systems, tracing I/O wiring, verifying device operation, and validating PLC interactions without modifying or editing PLC programs. The technologist will operate safely around PLC-controlled machinery and electrical systems, following site and company safety practices. They will collaborate with Integration Engineers during commissioning and punch-list completion at customer sites, communicate status and findings clearly to customers and internal teams, and support varying schedules (nights/weekends). The role requires travel to project locations, including extended deployments that may run six months or longer, and maintaining a clean driving record. Flexibility with changing project priorities and the ability to jump in where needed are also essential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or AS degree, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 2+ years in an electrical role within industrial or similar environments.
  • Clear, calm communication—especially when timelines are tight.
  • Strong troubleshooting with PLCs and field I/O; comfortable interfacing for diagnostics without changing code.
  • Competence with standard hand tools and a consistently professional presence.
  • Obtain a passport.
  • Pass initial background checks and drug screening.
  • Pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA level) background check.

Nice To Haves

  • AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical proficiency.
  • Experience with PLC platforms such as Studio/Logix 5000 or equivalents (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi).
