About The Position

SJE is seeking a PLC/HMI Programmer to support their Altronex brand in Madison, WI. Altronex is a leader in control solutions for the municipal water and wastewater industries, specializing in custom-engineered control panels, SCADA and telemetry systems, control panel fabrication, systems integration, and field services support. The PLC/HMI Programmer will develop PLC code and HMI graphics for control systems that manage water and wastewater movement. This will involve working on new panels and MCCs during manufacturing, as well as performing custom modifications on existing operational control systems. The role utilizes Microsoft Excel for programming organization and is largely independent, though within a supportive and collaborative team environment. This is an on-site position.

Requirements

• Experience programming Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs
• Comfortable with CompactLogix, MicroLogix and some ControlLogix
• Experience with PanelView, Maple, Automation Direct and Wonderware HMI Programs
• Self-starter
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

• A 2-year degree in Automation Technology or equivalent degree
• 5+ years of experience

Responsibilities
