About The Position

The PLC Engineer is responsible for developing, programming, and maintaining programmable logic controller systems that support automated equipment and industrial processes. This role focuses on control logic development, troubleshooting, and continuous system optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience programming PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar
• Understanding of ladder logic, structured text, or function block programming
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Familiarity with industrial networking and communication protocols
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify PLC programs for automated systems
• Configure and maintain HMI interfaces
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues in production environments
• Support equipment commissioning and system startups
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Maintain version control and documentation of PLC programs
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and operations teams to resolve technical issues
• Ensure systems operate safely and meet performance standards
