This is a more advanced position and normally includes: Troubleshooting PLC-controlled machinery, reviewing or modifying PLC programs, working with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar platforms, troubleshooting HMIs, VFDs, servos, vision systems, and industrial networks, diagnosing sensors, instrumentation, I/O modules, safety relays, and motor controls, performing equipment startup and commissioning, calibrating temperature, pressure, flow, level, and proximity devices, maintaining PLC backups, electrical drawings, programs, and technical documentation, and performing root-cause analysis on repeated equipment failures.
