About The Position
We're seeking a skilled PLC Controls Technician to support automation equipment across a commercial kitchen facility, with a primary focus on an ILPRA sealing machine and GSI labeling/printing equipment.
Requirements
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting background (platform TBD — confirming whether ILPRA/GSI run Allen Bradley, Siemens, or proprietary software)
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Comfortable working with specialty/niche industrial equipment
- Team-oriented, proactive, strong culture fit
Nice To Haves
- Kitchen equipment/appliance repair experience
- Prior exposure to Allen Bradley or Siemens platforms (transferable skills welcomed if exact ILPRA/GSI experience isn't available)
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, program, and maintain PLC-controlled automation equipment, primarily the ILPRA sealing machine and GSI labeling/printing system
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls issues to minimize equipment downtime
- Collaborate with the senior electrical technician and broader maintenance team on equipment repairs
- Support kitchen equipment/appliance repair as needed (not required, but valued)
