About The Position

The PLC Controls Engineer III implements multiple electrical projects as the Lead Engineer for an integrated system or sub-system. The Engineer provides planning, reporting, and management of the electrical project, in addition to technical implementation. The Electrical Controls Engineer takes full ownership of the controls program elements and executes and/or delegates individual tasks throughout the project life cycle by coordinating and forecasting electrical resources in-house and on-site, which may include other Electrical Project Engineers. The Engineer takes a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, and overall electrical architecture, and manages the scope, budget, and schedule, maintaining internal and external customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Lead Engineer for integrated systems or sub-systems.
  • Experience in planning, reporting, and managing electrical projects.
  • Experience in technical implementation of electrical projects.
  • Experience taking ownership of controls program elements.
  • Experience executing and/or delegating tasks throughout the project life cycle.
  • Experience coordinating and forecasting electrical resources.
  • Experience taking a systems approach to understanding design features, project elements, and electrical architecture.
  • Experience managing scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Experience maintaining customer expectations.
