Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and end-to-end test suites using Playwright.
Create reusable test frameworks using TypeScript/JavaScript and Playwright Test.
Automate functional, regression, smoke, integration, and cross-browser testing.
Develop reliable locators using approaches such as roles, labels, test IDs, and other resilient selectors.
Implement assertions, fixtures, hooks, reusable utilities, and Page Object Model (POM) patterns.
Execute automated tests across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit browsers.
Implement parallel execution and test isolation to improve test-suite reliability and execution time.
Debug automation failures using screenshots, videos, logs, reports, and Playwright Trace Viewer.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Perform API testing and combine API validation with UI automation where appropriate.
Analyze failed and flaky tests, identify root causes, and improve automation stability.
Work closely with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Participate in test planning, test-case reviews, defect management, and release validation.
