About The Position
Classic Club is seeking a motivated, part-time Players Assistant to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests, and to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. This is a seasonal position lasting 6 months or less. The Players Assistant is responsible for monitoring the pace of play on the course and providing guests with high-quality customer service in a friendly and helpful manner.
Requirements
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
- Must have a strong customer and guest orientation.
- Must be dependable.
- Valid driver's license required.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the game of golf highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Maintains a reasonable pace of play on the golf courses.
- Communicates with and assists the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play.
- Communicates with the Starter and Pro Shop about any pace of play concerns.
- Monitors course cleanliness.
- Assists Outside Staff Attendants as needed.
- Advises guests of course conditions, expected pace of play, local rules, and other golf-related issues.
- Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
