About The Position

The Player Services Team Member is responsible for greeting all guests in a pleasant, courteous and enthusiastic manner while registering guest information for the Players Club as well as assisting guests with various money-related transactions. This role involves redeeming cashout vouchers, exchanging coins for cash, processing various types of checks, and accurately completing transactions and required paperwork. The position also requires providing excellent guest service by answering questions, entering guest information into the Players Club database, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Player Services area. Additionally, the Team Member will monitor inventory, request supplies, safeguard casino assets, balance their bank, and assist with special events and promotions. They must also stay aware of and communicate property-wide promotions, events, and programs, and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities, and marketing programs to guests.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
  • 6 months cash handling experience preferred.
  • General understanding of computer programs, including all windows applications required.
  • Possess or obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
  • Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
  • Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Exchanges coins for cash and deals with cash exchanges.
  • Processes cash advance checks, personal checks, and traveler’s checks following strict identification guidelines.
  • Proficiently and accurately completes transactions, online accounting functions, and required paperwork.
  • Provides excellent guest service by answering all questions.
  • Enters guest’s information into the Players Club database.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the Player Services area.
  • Monitors inventory and requests supplies as needed.
  • Safeguards Three Rivers Casino assets and balances assigned bank.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of special events and promotions.
  • Maintains awareness of, and effectively communicates to other staff, property-wide/company promotions, events, and programs.
  • Provides information and explains Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to guests.
  • Performs other duties as directed by management.
