About The Position

The Player Services Cashier Lead is responsible for communicating pertinent information to all Player Services Cashiers and Ambassadors in a timely manner. This role promotes superior guest service and maintains a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani. The lead interacts with guests, encouraging membership in Players Club and Forever Rewards Card programs, rewarding patrons for play, and effectively handling questions and problems. They process new Player’s Choice membership applications and create cards in the Streamline database. The position distributes monies to guests via Slot Ticket redemption, chip redemption, and check cashing, and processes monetary transactions for other departments, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. The lead is responsible for securing the integrity of assigned assets and maintaining the accountability of company funds in accordance with Internal Controls and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations. When working as the Chip Banker, they are responsible for the accountability of the chips in the Casino, processing chip transfers and issuing Table fills to the pits. The Player Services Cashier Lead demonstrates an understanding of all Player Services front-line operations, identifies, prioritizes, and assists front-line team members with questions, and assists the training specialist to ensure proper training. They concisely communicate problems, ideas, and concerns to management in a timely manner and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • Six (6) months as a cage cashier experience with demonstrated proficiency in all areas.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
  • Outstanding organizational skills required as well as strong written and verbal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous money handling experience.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift 30 to 40 lbs.
  • Must be capable of interacting with the public in a highly professional and positive manner.
  • Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

  • Concisely communicates problems, ideas, and concerns to management in a timely manner.
