About The Position

This role involves providing excellent guest service, operating an assigned bank or window, and managing financial transactions. The Player Service Cashier determines customer qualifications for admissions, opens new player accounts, issues replacement cards, and reconciles cash at the end of each shift. Responsibilities also include ensuring key control procedures are followed, maintaining an organized work area, completing job-related paperwork, and assisting with NRT kiosks. The position requires adherence to all departmental and property policies, maintaining strict confidentiality, and performing other related duties as assigned. Additionally, the role involves completing Currency Transaction Reports and conducting verifications to ensure transaction accuracy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General cashiering background or prior money handling experience required.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills required; must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.

  • Player Services or related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of player tracking systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
  • Operates assigned bank or window according to procedure.
  • Determines customer qualifications for mychoice members admission by reviewing player information based upon established criteria.
  • Opens new player accounts, issues replacement cards, and merges duplicate accounts.
  • Verifies previous count sheet from assigned bank, or, if window, count sheet from the Main Bank.
  • Counts down bank or window at end of each shift and reconciles to the cage accountability.
  • Ensures that all key control procedures are executed according to established guidelines.
  • Ensures that contents of the banks are organized so they can be readily counted at shift changes.
  • Prepares and completes all job-related paperwork as approved in the internal Control Submission.
  • Assists with the NRT kiosk as needed in relation to emptying or filling the units.
  • Participates in and attends meetings as requested.
  • Completes Currency Transaction Reports as required by law.
  • Conducts “Verifications” (doubles) to ensure the accuracy of transaction being paid.
  • Maintains a clean, well-organized work area and environment.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
