About The Position
BallenIsles Country Club, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Player Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates are required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
Responsibilities
- Manage Pace of Play and organization of daily play
- Ensures players are adhering to guidelines set by the Starter
- Maintain and restock comfort stations on the courses
- Keep course markings (stakes and signs) neat and orderly
- Enforce dress code rules
- Confirm tee sheet accuracy
- Helps tournament set up and coordination
- Enforce ThorGuard rules
- Provide oncourse service to members by finding lost clubs, replace dying carts and other related service
- Encourage golfers to use proper “care for the course” etiquette
- Assists with associate training
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
