About The Position

The Family Y is looking for energetic and dependable Play & Learn Staff to join their team. In this role, you will work directly with children while helping to provide day-to-day leadership in the Play & Learn area. You will support and guide team members, maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios, lead age-appropriate activities, communicate with parents and members, and help ensure a clean, safe, and positive environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school education
• Enjoy working with children and families
• Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Dependable, positive, energetic, and a team player
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. and actively participate in activities with children
• Can obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 45 days of employment
• Can successfully complete required background and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with school-age children or youth programs
• Education or training in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
