About The Position

This role involves processing stainless steel and aluminum parts for the Semiconductor and Aerospace industries using metal finishing processes such as plating. The technician will ensure waste treatment and environmental compliance through established chemistry methods and assist with equipment maintenance as needed. A key aspect of the job is the safe and logical transfer of liquid and solid chemicals used in metal finishing, requiring adherence to written and oral directions and demonstrated procedures.

Requirements

• Basic nickel plating knowledge/skills
• Ability to unmask and clean
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• 0-2 years’ experience in metal finishing processes such as cleaning, anodization, plating etc.

Responsibilities

• Processes stainless steel and aluminum parts for the Semiconductor and Aerospace industries utilizing metal finishing processes such as plating
• Ensures waste treatment and environmental compliance using established methods of chemistry.
• Assists in equipment maintenance as required.
• Must be able to follow written, oral direction and demonstrated procedures involving the safe and logical transfer of liquid and solid chemicals used in metal finishing.
