About The Position

The Copper Plater I is responsible for processing panels through the cleaning line, loading and unloading plating tanks. This role also involves changing filters, anode bags, adding copper to plating baskets, handling tin anode bars, and dumping and remaking different chemistries according to company procedures and dumping schedules. The position requires maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times and necessitates good communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Basic mathematical and reasoning ability required.
Ability to communicate with managers and supervisors.
Must be able to perform the entire shift while standing.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Practice proper lifting techniques at all times.
Must have very good concentration and must be able remain focused with minor interruptions.
Basic computer skills a must.
At least 1-2 years work experience of Copper Plating background in lieu of educational requirement.
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC.

Responsibilities

Processes boards through Copper Plating in a complete and timely manner in accordance with production traveler and work instructions to ensure that all processes are maintained in accordance with ISO procedures.
Performs dumps and remakes of chemistries per PM schedule.
Maintains and cleans all department equipment.
Ensures that each job is accompanied by a traveler and that all previous steps are signed off.
Performs start-up, operation, preventive maintenance, and quality checks according to work instructions.
Follows safety guidelines.
