About The Position

The Platform Strategy-Client Reporting Intern supports the development and implementation of projects essential to Stifel’s Investment Products and Services platform. Working alongside Platform Strategy Specialists, the Intern assists with project tasks and develops familiarity with Stifel’s investment products, operational processes, compliance policies, and technology infrastructure. The role provides exposure to project management, business analysis, and strategic development within the firm. The Intern contributes to firm initiatives by assisting with project documentation, business process analysis, requirements gathering, design solutions, testing, and launch activities. The position also supports the preparation of marketing and training materials to facilitate adoption of platform projects.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related field, with at least one year of college education completed.
Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to seek guidance and learn from team members.
Ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple tasks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
General knowledge of or interest in financial services, especially wealth management and investment products such as securities, stocks, bonds, and funds.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Interest in learning investment research software and project management tools.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day project tasks related to key firm initiatives and support the execution of small and medium-scale projects.
Help create and update project plans, schedules, and status reports under the guidance of senior team members.
Participate in business process analysis and data gathering to address business needs, and provide recommendations to team leads.
Attend design review and requirements-gathering sessions and learn to document and resolve project issues.
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and assist in developing design solutions.
Help prepare marketing and training materials and support project launch activities to facilitate adoption.
Assist senior team members in designing and executing test scripts for new platform features.
