About The Position

The Platform Integration Engineer – OT role supports operational integration, platform readiness, documentation completion, control/evidence support, monitoring validation, risk/remediation tracking, and stabilization activities that help maintain reliable and supportable OT operations. This role serves as an operations-facing integration resource that helps ensure OT assets, platforms, monitoring, documentation, support records, risk items, and operational readiness activities are identified, tracked, coordinated, and completed. This role combines technical coordination, operational readiness, platform integration, and support enablement. It is not a pure project management role and does not replace day-to-day operations ownership.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, operational technology, platform integration, operations readiness, or technical delivery roles.
  • Experience supporting operational readiness, service transition, post-implementation stabilization, compliance readiness, or operations enablement activities.
  • Working knowledge of OT environments, site infrastructure, segmentation, firewalls, secure connectivity, monitoring platforms, or industrial systems.
  • Ability to coordinate technical work across operations, architecture, cybersecurity, engineering, vendor, and site teams.
  • Strong documentation, tracking, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, laboratory, or OT environments.
  • Experience with control validation, evidence management, exception tracking, audit support, or cybersecurity governance support.
  • Familiarity with OT asset onboarding, monitoring readiness, firewall/network request processes, secure remote access, or operational support workflows.
  • Understanding of network segmentation, VLANs, firewall rules, OT asset visibility, cybersecurity controls, and managed operations models.
  • Relevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, ITIL, CISSP Associate, GICSP, or comparable infrastructure/security certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Validate that OT environments are supportable and operationally ready after implementation or transition activities.
  • Track and coordinate closure of readiness findings, support gaps, open items, and integration dependencies.
  • Assist operations with aligning transitioned assets, platforms, monitoring, documentation, and support records with the required operating model.
  • Coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, site, vendor, and operations teams when post-transition remediation or clarification is required.
  • Assist with collecting, organizing, validating, and maintaining control evidence and readiness artifacts.
  • Support closure of control validation items, remediation actions, exception documentation, and operational readiness gaps.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity, architecture, operations, and site stakeholders to obtain missing information required for control reviews or operational acceptance.
  • Track dependencies and evidence needs through completion.
  • Validate that OT assets, site infrastructure, and security components are represented in appropriate monitoring, visibility, and operational support workflows.
  • Support follow-up activities related to alerting, platform health, asset visibility, telemetry, and operational monitoring.
  • Coordinate with platform owners and operations teams to close monitoring or support integration gaps.
  • Confirm monitoring and escalation expectations are documented and understood by support teams.
  • Coordinate completion and validation of runbooks, support notes, asset records, diagrams, connectivity information, and operational support instructions.
  • Identify documentation gaps affecting supportability, audit readiness, or operational ownership.
  • Work with delivery, site, and operations teams to reconcile as-built information with operational records.
  • Ensure documentation updates are reflected in the appropriate repositories or operational systems of record.
  • Support tracking of risks, exceptions, remediation actions, and operational defects.
  • Coordinate technical input from architecture, cybersecurity, delivery, site, and operations teams to support issue resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved or high-impact operational readiness risks through appropriate channels.
  • Help ensure risk and remediation decisions are documented and traceable.
  • Assist operations teams with understanding support requirements, escalation paths, known issues, and operational considerations for OT environments.
  • Validate that support teams have the information needed to triage incidents, manage changes, and support monitoring or platform issues.
  • Support development or refinement of operational runbooks and repeatable support patterns.
  • Participate in lessons-learned activities to improve readiness and supportability practices.
