The Platform Team is Responsible for development and maintenance of high-level Ground Antenna Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) subsystems, systems and workstations. They Design, develop and deploy the end-to end integrated systems and associated applications; networks, and related data center compute platforms to our customers both at CONUS and OCONUS Locations. This role is for a Senior. Principal Platform Engineer (Deployment Lead) for the Program’s Site Deployment Team, which will coordinate and support deliveries of the physical COTS environments to our customer’s locations. The ideal candidate will be working with the Program’s IPT LEADERSHIP and customer planning, coordination, and installation of Ground Antenna Systems to customer facilities. The ideal candidate needs to have a strong background in data center equipment deployments, understand electrical and electronic concepts, and have hands-on experience with various types of test equipment and related tools. They must be a highly motivated, self-starter that can quickly learn/assimilate complex situations/problems. Note This position is based in Aurora CO. and may require some travel (~20%) or on call support/overtime to support program or organizational hardware operations activities.
