About The Position

DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks a Platform Engineer in Cary, NC to develop and enhance next‑generation AI enabled applications on behalf of CTB business, transforming early prototypes into scalable, cloud‑native systems suitable for production environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent
Two (2) years of experience implementing cloud infrastructure components on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience assisting with configuration, networking setup, and deployment of managed services based on defined architectural guidelines
Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications using Kubernetes, including configuring workloads and assisting with environment setup across development and production systems
Experience implementing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes using GitHub actions, Git, Docker, and Helm
Experience configuring and supporting cloud-hosted relational databases using PostgreSQL and Cloud SQL, ensuring proper integration with application services and maintaining operational reliability
Experience applying infrastructure-as-code principles to define and maintain cloud resources in a repeatable and auditable manner
Experience monitoring distributed systems and troubleshooting issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions using Terraform, Kubernetes (kubectl), Google Cloud Monitoring, and Google Cloud Logging
Experience developing and maintaining backend application code using JavaScript and Python, including implementing business logic, integrating services, and supporting application functionality

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance next-generation AI enabled applications on behalf of CTB business, transforming early prototypes into scalable, cloud-native systems suitable for production environments.
Implement cloud infrastructure components on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including configuration, networking setup, and deployment of managed services based on defined architectural guidelines.
Deploy and support containerized applications using Kubernetes, including configuring workloads and assisting with environment setup across development and production systems.
