About The Position

Vira Games is an independent game company specializing in the development and publishing of mobile games. Our team is a creative alliance that combines experience, creativity, drive, and professionalism. We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join the development of Vira Games' internal platform – a product for our teams that serves as the technological foundation for their daily work. This role has a broad scope of technical influence: from the user-facing part and backend services to architecture, integrations, and security, with the opportunity to influence not only individual decisions but also the development of the platform as a holistic product, its scalability, reliability, and long-term quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of end-to-end web product development.
• Experience developing complex workflows that interact with external systems.
• Production experience with Python, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with typical enterprise application tasks: RBAC, multi-tenancy, SSO/OIDC, audit log, security.
• Production experience with systems that use LLM APIs.
• Experience building and maintaining integrations with external APIs.
• Experience with AWS at the architecture level, Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform).
• Relational data modeling, including schemas for tenancy and access rights.

Responsibilities

• Develop the user-facing surface of the platform that studios use daily – analytics, releases, live-ops, player support, and much more.
• Design and write APIs and microservices.
• Build the integration layer: each external system is a separate component with its own authorization, limits, cache, and failure behavior, according to our convenient model, not the vendor's.
• Build orchestration over integrations: scheduled and event-driven launches, stateful operations with retries and partial results.
• Make access control part of the product: RBAC, data isolation between projects and studios, SSO, audit log, and an admin panel that can actually be used.
• Design and write the MCP layer: several narrow servers instead of one large one, so that access is granted point-to-point.
• Maintain communication with the AI Automation team: understand which scenarios our agents are running, and make the platform such that these scenarios are possible and safe.
• Cover what you write with logs, metrics, and product analytics – both on the back-end and front-end.
