About The Position

As a Platform Engineer II, you will independently design and build small-to-medium AWS platform features. You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes operations, and observability with growing autonomy.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of production experience in cloud infrastructure or CI/CD.
• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python or Go; experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• AWS Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator Associate (or willingness to achieve within 12 months).

• Advanced Kubernetes operations and FinOps cost modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own platform features end-to-end, from design to production.
• Build multi-environment CI/CD pipelines and deploy workloads via Terraform and Helm.
• Operate and troubleshoot AWS EKS clusters, including resource management and autoscaling.
• Manage AWS IAM roles and implement secure-by-default configurations aligned with NIST/CIS standards.
• Design SLOs and dashboards using CloudWatch or Datadog to improve reliability.
• Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate IaC development and scripting.
