About The Position

As a Platform Engineer, you will develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. You will develop container management software to solve client challenges, hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies, and improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration. You will support your team by informing strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process, and recommending resources for secure container adoption. You will also strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with software development or programming in a DevOps environment
  • 3+ years of experience with automation tools, including Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Puppet
  • 3+ years of experience managing Git-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab and GitHub
  • 2+ years of experience architecting and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Security+ or CISSP Certification within 30 days of start date

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  • Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
  • Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
  • Leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
  • Agile Certification
  • DevOps Certification
  • Cloud Certification
