Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Senior hands-on experience building and operating cloud infrastructure in production environments
  • A track record of client-facing work — troubleshooting live issues, partnering with engineering teams, and communicating technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
  • A passion for automation, developer experience, and turning manual work into reliable, repeatable systems
  • Comfort working across the full lifecycle: design, build, operate, document, and hand off
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies in cloud, data, and DevOps — and the judgment to know when to adopt them.
  • Terraform: Production experience writing, modularizing, and operating Terraform at scale (state management, workspaces, module design, policy-as-code)
  • AWS and Azure: Hands-on experience designing and operating workloads on both (IAM/RBAC, networking, compute, storage, security)
  • Snowflake: Platform-level experience: RBAC design, warehouses and resource monitors, network and masking policies, integrations, and managing Snowflake via Terraform
  • CI/CD pipelines: Production experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, including pipeline design for IaC and data workloads
  • Python (or Go): For tooling, automation, and integration work

Nice To Haves

  • SnowPro® Core Certification.
  • AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification (or equivalent).
  • Experience with data processing languages (e.g., SQL, Scala).
  • Experience with orchestration tooling (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
  • Experience in technical consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers to solve complex problems within their public cloud and data warehouse.
  • Analyze clients' existing cloud-based infrastructure to optimize for integrations between public cloud providers and their Snowflake accounts.
  • Create and deliver best-practice data warehouse and storage solutions, infrastructure as code solutions, CI/CD and data pipelines, and integrations between public cloud systems.
  • Evaluate new and existing technologies to improve cloud infrastructure capabilities.
