About The Position

In this senior technical role, you’ll play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and managing automation and systems infrastructure supporting government environments. You’ll partner closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure platforms are secure, compliant, highly available, and aligned with both business and government requirements. Our current automation ecosystem includes Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), RunDeck, and Network to Code Nautobot.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Platform Automation experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in an enterprise Windows & Linux environment
  • 3+ years of experience with scripting experience with Python, YAML and/or PowerShell
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper‑V, OCP and/or LinuxOne
  • 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
  • All offers of employment are contingent on standard background check
  • Fiserv and certain of its affiliated companies are federal, state, and/or local government contractors. Should this position support a Federal Government contract, now or in the future, the successful candidate will be subject to a background check conducted by the U.S. Government to determine eligibility and suitability for federal contract employment for public trust or sensitive positions. Nice To Haves

  • Experience using RunDeck for orchestration and operational automation
  • Experience with Network to Code Nautobot (source‑of‑truth, integrations, automation workflows)
  • Hands‑on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance orchestration and runbook‑driven automation with RunDeck
  • Leverage Nautobot for network and infrastructure source‑of‑truth and automation integrations (including but not limited to SNow CMDB)
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures using Confluence
  • Monitor system performance and implement tuning and optimization measures
  • Drive enterprise automation initiatives using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new technologies while meeting government security and compliance standards
  • Conduct system assessments and implement security controls
  • Provide advanced technical guidance and tier‑3 support to ensure system reliability
  • Stay current with trends in platform engineering, automation, and government‑aligned infrastructure
