About The Position

The Platform Architect V is responsible for defining, evolving, and enabling the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) as an integrated system of platforms supporting data and AI capabilities across the enterprise. This role ensures that the platform ecosystem—including data ingestion, processing, governance, and access—is architected to meet current and future business needs while aligning with Enterprise Technology Strategy. Operating within Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) and aligned to the Enterprise Architecture (EA) domain, the Platform Architect V leads platform direction through proposal-driven architecture, influences cross-functional decisions, and enables engineering teams through clear architectural patterns, guardrails, and reference implementations. This role partners closely with Product Architects (particularly AI-focused roles) in a two-in-a-box model, where the Platform Architect owns platform architecture and system design, while Product Architects own use case definition and business outcomes. Success will be measured by increased adoption of the Enterprise Data Platform, reduced platform fragmentation, improved delivery velocity, and enhanced platform stability.
