About The Position

In this position, you will lead the development of developing a pipeline for selected body systems capabilities at the systems engineering level, from early conceptual development through a production environment. This includes driving the development of pipeline components in a process to assess functional capabilities for reusability, robustness, compatibility and expandability, as well as managing complex components to identify gaps using AI and own through system integrations, upgrades, and migration plans.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • High Proficiency in programming languages and formats including C, C++, Python, JSON, and YAML.
  • Advanced DevOps skills using LLM integration, agents, cross application and database API integration
  • 1+ years of related experience with vehicle electrical architecture, topology, body systems and/or features.
  • 1+ years of experience in DevOps and software development
  • Concept, Logical and Technical requirement elicitation and authoring in plain text or Gherkin formats.
  • Strong learning agility, advanced systems thinking, and exceptional analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure level functional knowledge of electrical module design, networking, wiring, power distribution, chassis systems, and body systems (including lighting, climate, seats, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to quickly understand, articulate, and resolve complex issues.
  • Demonstrated emotional resilience to effectively negotiate cross-functional trade-offs.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 3+ years of related experience in an Automotive Engineering role.
  • Strong skills using industry-standard tools such as Jira, Jama, FEDE, VSEM, DevOps tools (e.g., Github, Visual Studio), and Matlab/Simulink.
  • Extensive Electrical Systems Engineering experience, including a deep understanding of the systems engineering V-model.
  • Experience in automotive software Design & Release (D&R).
  • Experience with Vehicle-to-Cloud (V2C) work.
  • Expertise in Vehicle cybersecurity.
  • Proven launch experience in automotive programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop backend pipelines for Platform Systems definitions including Requirements, DFMEA, Boundary Diagrams, SysML elements, Capability Dictionaries, WiKi’s
  • Automate gap analysis between current and future capability requirements and actual implementation and requirements.
  • Optimize current pipelines for engineering processes and determine improvements that yield faster iterations with automation.
  • Create quality analysis of various artifacts used in the engineering processes using LLM.
  • Lead the design of the DevOps process in alignment of current vehicle architectures and adapt to changes in the rapidly changing landscape of vehicle software.
  • Experiment with automating the pipeline processes to include proof of concept validation simulations.
  • Lead the process reviews of submits in our git repositories for the entire team.
  • Integrating input of cross-functional interfacing teams needs into the pipelines output.
