Plate Maker - Second (2nd) Shift
About The Position
This position is responsible for ensuring the proper plates are made according to the daily schedule. The Plate Maker will review the docket to ensure files match, create necessary plates using the provided process, and properly identify and mark plates to match the proof. Additionally, the role involves performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on the Flex laser, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and monitoring department supplies to prevent production delays. Secondary responsibilities include assisting in the Rotary Screen Department with stripping and coating rotary screens when time permits.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Computer skills, mathematical skills required
- Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs.
- Must be able to remove, replace and transport a 55-gallon barrel of AV Solve via barrel dolly.
- Prolonged hours of standing and lifting

Responsibilities

- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on Flex laser is complete.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Monitor department supplies and inform supervisor of any potential situations that could cause production delays.
- When time allows help in the Rotary Screen Dept., stripping and coating rotary screens.
