About The Position

As a Plastics Set-up, you will be responsible for removing and installing injection molds and equipment setups & changeovers of electric and hydraulic plastic injection molding machines. This is a full-time position with hours from Friday through Sunday, 6am-6pm, and you will be paid for 40 hours.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot injection molding process issues.
• Strong knowledge of the plastic injection molding processes.

Nice To Haves

• Previous set-up experience in a plastics manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, install, adjust, repair, test, calibrate, and may operate production line machinery.
• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment as needed.
• Remove molds from press after completion of run.
• Perform machine adjustments within allowable parameters.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Identify improvement ideas and making recommendations.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
