The provider will participate in office/clinic operations, conduct assessments, diagnose and treat patients, and perform physical examinations. Key responsibilities include assisting with surgical boarding, providing first assistant support in the operating room, and managing postoperative patient care. The role also entails prescribing medications, performing advanced therapeutic procedures, admitting, managing, and discharging patients, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests. Effective communication and coordination with consulting services and ancillary departments are essential. The provider will also be involved in patient/family education, community outreach, and potentially research and student education.
