About The Position

KI is seeking a full-time Plastics Operator/Assembler to work at its Green Bay manufacturing facility on 3rd shift. The role operates injection molding machines and assembles and packages products. The starting rate is $20 per hour, with a $3.00-per-hour 3rd-shift differential and a $1.00-per-hour raise within the first year. Overtime may be available during the busy season. The position requires working in warm areas and performing tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be willing to assist in other plant areas when their own area is slow. The work environment is smoke-free.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical aptitude and previous manufacturing experience; not required.
Computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

Operate injection molding machines, including trimming and packaging parts.
Assemble chairs, including packaging and labeling products.
Inspect parts produced to ensure quality.
Pack and label knockdown product.
Clean the work area and machinery.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Assist in any area of the plant when the employee's area is slow.
