About The Position

United Plastic Fabricating (UPF), a family-owned company established in 1986, is seeking mechanically inclined individuals or those with hands-on hobbies to learn a new skill as Plastic Welders. UPF are innovators of plastic products for the fire, truck, and industrial markets, ensuring all products are designed and fabricated to customer needs with a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness. The company offers training to the right individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and drive.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined
• Team Player
• A Yearning for Continuous Improvement
• Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, reaching or bending
• Physical effort/lifting - up to 10 pounds; light - up to 20 pounds

Responsibilities

• Performs Plastic Welding Operations on Product
• Assemble Products by Blueprint
• Performs a Variety of Duties, including but not limited to Inspection, Layout and Assembly
