About The Position
UW Health in northern Illinois seeks a BE/BC Plastic Surgeon with advanced expertise in microsurgical breast reconstruction to join our comprehensive surgical service in Rockford, Illinois. As a valued member of UW Health Medical Group, your community-based practice will flourish with the support of a comprehensive surgical service including vascular, general, plastic, cardiac, endocrine, orthopedic, and breast surgeons. You will also have quaternary support from UW Health University Hospital in Madison, WI, and access to a state-of-the-art surgical department with 15 surgical suites, Da Vinci Xi robotics, and block scheduling. An academic/teaching appointment is available with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
- Active Illinois medical license.
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology. Board certification must be obtained within 5 years.
- BE/BC Plastic Surgeon with advanced expertise in microsurgical breast reconstruction.

- Bi-annual CPR certification.
