The Plasma Processing Technician is responsible for evaluating donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures, administering and supervising immunizations, and providing limited emergency medical care. This role promotes positive customer relations, conducts confidential interviews, and manages medical history reviews and health assessments. The technician also handles medical emergencies, explains informed consent, and manages employee immunization programs. They ensure accurate recording of donor data, maintain a clean work environment, and adhere to all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies. Confidentiality of all information is paramount. Bilingual skills may be required, and other job-related duties may be assigned.
