This role is a part-time position, with most shifts lasting between 4 to 6 hours a day, 3+ days per week. The position involves greeting donors, performing venipuncture, programming plasmapheresis machines, monitoring donors during donation, and managing donor reactions. It also includes installing and disconnecting disposable sets, stocking supplies, taking and recording donor vital signs, performing finger sticks and testing samples, entering donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS), coordinating donors, and compensating donors. The role also supports the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement.
