About The Position

Gemini is hiring a Foundry Team Member for its Decorah, Iowa location. This full-time role works in a metal foundry, where operators create sand molds that are poured with liquid metal to produce castings. The position also involves using hand and power tools and operating equipment to finish products, inspecting and assembling finished products, and preparing them for shipment to customers. The role requires appropriate personal protective equipment for hearing and vision protection and the ability to load and unload materials. The employee reports to the Plant Manager.

The scheduled first shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime is scheduled as needed. The posted wage range is $19.66–$26.01. The role is eligible for other benefits, and individual compensation depends on candidate-specific factors and business and market considerations.

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience.
• Automotive paint experience.
• High mechanical aptitude.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate a variety of power saws and routers.
• Use proper personal protective equipment to protect hearing and vision in a metal-foundry environment.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools and operate equipment to finish high-quality products.
