About The Position
Gemini is looking for a 2nd shift Team Member to join the team at our location in Taylor, TX! Come be a part of a positive, people-first culture that is focused on leveraging each team members’ strengths to help bring our customers’ unique signage products to life. This role sits in a metal foundry. Our operators create sand molds to be poured with liquid metal to create a metal casting. Due to the nature of a metal foundry, working conditions require the use of proper PPE to protect hearing and vision as well as the ability to physically load and unload materials.
Requirements
- Manufacturing Experience
- Automotive Paint Experience
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Foundry related experience
- Lean manufacturing experience
Responsibilities
- Utilizing hand/power tools and operating equipment to finish high quality product.
- Inspecting and assembling the finished product and shipping appropriately to the customer.
- Operators create sand molds to be poured with liquid metal to create a metal casting.
- Reporting to Plant Manager
