About The Position

This position is eligible for remote work in one of the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. This position will require some travel for office meetings, as needed, to our corporate office in Tulsa, OK. A Planview Administrator BPP II plays a key role in the ongoing support, configuration, integration support, and optimization of the Planview environment. This is a developmental role designed to build both functional and technical capability, with the goal of progressing into a more advanced administrative position over time. The BPP II Administrator is expected to learn system architecture, integration points, and best practices through hands-on experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience administering Planview or similar Project Management and/or Financial enterprise systems
  • Foundational understanding of system configuration, data structures, and user access management
  • Exposure to integrations, data flows, or system interfaces (APIs, batch processing, or middleware is a plus)
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and support break/fix resolution with guidance
  • Experience or familiarity with testing methodologies and execution

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain general Planview application settings in alignment with business and technical requirements
  • Manage resource data, including resource attributes, user access grants, and role assignments, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
  • Configure and maintain screens, fields, columns, and default column sets based on user and leadership requirements
  • Support report updates and enhancements to ensure consistent and accurate delivery of business insights
  • Work closely under the guidance of the Lead Administrator to learn system architecture, integrations, and data flows
  • Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting integration errors, data issues, and system break/fix scenarios
  • Help triage and resolve production issues, escalating as needed while building troubleshooting expertise
  • Gradually develop the ability to independently support integration-related issues and system stability
  • Support configuration management and release readiness by executing defined testing expectations
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and executing test plans for system changes, enhancements, and upgrades
  • Perform functional validation during migrations, updates, and defect resolution efforts
  • Ensure changes are tested thoroughly and meet requirements prior to deployment
  • Provide functional support to end users, troubleshooting issues and answering system-related questions
  • Contribute to knowledge management by maintaining FAQs, documentation, and internal knowledge base content
  • Develop user-facing guidance and training materials to improve adoption and system understanding
  • Develop strong working relationships and collaborate with team members, business partners, IT stakeholders, consultants and vendors, to achieve success on initiatives.
  • Document and analyze business processes, user requirements and technology capabilities to identify opportunities for increased efficiency or effectiveness.
  • Perform business process reviews, making recommendations for improvements and/or changes to resolve deficiencies.
  • Solicit feedback and seek alignment with IT and business subject matter experts.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate controls for business processes and technology solutions.
  • Implement process or technology improvement opportunities by performing project management activities such as: collaborating with project sponsors and project teams to define project scope, developing project schedules, gathering business requirements, establishing project team roles and responsibilities, monitoring progress, and training business users.

  • Develop and maintain moderate to complex business intelligence analysis in support of strategic initiatives.
  • Guide, support, and mentor other team members as needed.
