About The Position
As a Technician, you will manage day-to-day activities and play an integral part in the surveillance of our Oil and Cryo gas treating operations. You will be responsible for work authorization and the safety of each authorized job. Operators are required to safely isolate process equipment for maintenance and repair and make detailed logs of all work.
Requirements
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong safety culture
- Troubleshooting skills
- Works well alone and with others
- Willingness to learn new processes and procedures
- Learn and utilize WMS permit to work system
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, OneNote, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous oil and gas operations experience recommended but not required
Responsibilities
- Performing surveillance of pumps, compressors, heaters, and towers
- Taking readings
- Performing lock out tag outs
- Starting and stopping equipment
- Strapping tanks and vessels
- Unloading and loading transport trucks
- Taking and analyzing samples of hydrocarbon
- Operating forklifts and man lifts around the plant
- General housekeeping and maintenance of the facility
