Requirements
- Class C Water certification preferred.
- Operator-in-Training candidates encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor water or wastewater treatment plant equipment.
- Collect water, wastewater, and process samples and perform required testing and recordkeeping activities.
- Diagnose operating problems and take effective courses of action.
- Make independent technical decisions to maintain proper treatment process.
- Perform routine inspections of treatment processes, equipment, facilities, and distribution or collection systems.
