About The Position

Cleveland Steel Container, an Employee Owned and World Class Steel Pail Manufacturing company, is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and customer-oriented individual that has a positive attitude and shares the values of our company culture, which is built around teamwork, family, honest communication and producing desirable results for our Niles, OH manufacturing facility. This position requires someone to be able to stand for extended periods of time and routinely package product for shipment for customers. This would include taking finished products off the production line and stacking products for shipment. This position would require lifting and handling of materials in excess of fifty pounds.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong communications skills
• Ability to work well as a team
• General Warehousing experience preferred
• Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment

Responsibilities

• Move required stock throughout the plant as needed to maintain production.
• Install covers- Bottoms, tops, or shells onto steel pails
• Participates in setting up the pail line as required
• Orient ear placement on pail shells while on production line
• Construct all cardboard trays or boxes for pail and/or cover packaging
• Responsible for correct labeling and accurate counts of material.
