About The Position
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pine, is seeking a Plant Supervisor for their second shift (M-F, 3p-11p). This position will direct production and distribution operations for a plant shift, including managing production personnel, production performance, and employee safety. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with two (2) years related supervisory experience and/or training in the wood treating or lumber industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and shipping of products per company policies, principles, and procedures established by the Plant Manager.
- Ensures employee safety and compliance with governing regulatory agencies, including OSHA and EPA.
- Oversees housekeeping of plant facilities and equipment during shift operations.
- Maintains positive employee relations and compliance with employment policies and regulations.
