Requirements

High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
3+ years of related environmental experience at the supervisory level (required)
2+ years of environmental, health and safety experience (required)

Nice To Haves

Previous experience operating tractor trailers / yard trucks (preferred)

Responsibilities

Provides guidance to team members while monitoring equipment and workloads to ensure the safe and timely completion of processing for various projects across a hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal facility.
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
Schedules, plans, and guides employees in their assigned tasks, ensuring production goals are met in an efficient and safe manner.
Develops, maintains and initiates reports for all activities for leadership review or as required by regulations and Company policies and procedures.
Trains new employees in Company and department-specific procedures while monitoring and documenting adherence to the established goals and metrics.
Partners with various areas at the facility location, as well as other departments and leadership to ensure a smooth flow of material through the facility.
Ensures assigned work areas and equipment are inspected and documented appropriately; notifies maintenance when repairs are required.
Participates in hiring, promotion, evaluation and disciplinary actions as needed.
Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
